2 Scope of these terms

These terms apply when you

  • Buy products from us in store or online
  • Ask us to provide repairs tuning or other services
  • Use our website to browse or place an order

3 Products and services

We are a specialist retailer for

  • Indian musical instruments and accessories
  • Carrom boards and accessories
  • Microphones speakers mixers and small PA systems

We also provide

  • Harmonium tuning and repairs
  • Repairs for suitable instruments and some audio gear
  • Help and advice to choose the right product for your needs

All products and services are offered subject to availability and to these terms


4 Prices GST and payment

  • All prices shown online are in New Zealand dollars NZD
  • Prices are GST inclusive GST number 139 762 010
  • Prices may change at any time without notice but the price at the time you place your order is the price that applies to that order
  • Payment is required in full before we ship your order
  • Online payments are processed through secure third party payment providers supported by the Shopify checkout and any other gateways enabled on our website
  • We do not offer cash on delivery COD

For bulk orders or organisation purchases we may agree special pricing when you contact us directly


5 Orders and acceptance

When you place an order in store or online you are making an offer to buy the products from us under these terms

An order is accepted when

  • We have received your payment in full or your required deposit in the case of custom or special orders and
  • We confirm the order for example by receipt order confirmation or by starting to prepare and dispatch the goods

We may decline or cancel an order if for example

  • The product is unavailable or out of stock
  • There has been a clear pricing or description error
  • We have reason to believe the order is fraudulent or made in breach of these terms

If we cancel an order after you have paid and before dispatch we will refund any amounts you have paid for that order


6 Shipping delivery and risk

Shipping and delivery are provided as described in our Single Source of Truth and related policies In summary

  • We ship throughout New Zealand and regularly to Canada USA Fiji and Australia and can ship to other countries on request subject to courier options and cost
  • Shipping is at customer cost and is usually based on the size and destination of the parcel
  • Our main courier is NZ Post and we use tracked services where available
  • Typical delivery time frames
    • Within New Zealand usually 2 to 4 working days depending on location and courier workload
    • International generally 5 to 15 days depending on the country courier and customs

We take care to pack items strongly especially fragile items such as harmoniums and carrom boards and use padding and secure boxing with fragile labelling where needed

Risk in the products passes to you when the goods are delivered to the courier or to you depending on what New Zealand consumer law requires We also arrange insured shipping through the courier for loss or damage in transit and work with the courier if a parcel is lost or damaged

Local pickup from our Papatoetoe location is available by arrangement


7 Returns replacements and refunds

Key points

  • We do not offer general change of mind refunds
  • Our first approach is to repair a faulty product where reasonable and safe
  • If the same fault keeps returning or there is a major fault we move to replacement
  • Refunds are only considered in special cases where repair or replacement is not appropriate or possible in line with New Zealand consumer law
  • If we send the wrong item we cover the reasonable cost of putting this right
  • If an item is lost by the courier or in our process we work with the courier and arrange a replacement once this is confirmed

8 Custom and special orders

We accept custom and special orders for specific models colours tunings or brands that are not listed on the website

  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm a custom or special order
  • Once confirmed and deposit paid custom and special orders are generally non refundable and non returnable for change of mind
  • For genuine faults custom items are handled through repair replacement or in rare cases refund consistent with our other policies and New Zealand consumer guarantees

Please make sure all details for a custom or special order are correct and clear before you confirm and pay your deposit


9 Warranty and after sales support

We provide warranty support on suitable products such as

  • Harmoniums
  • Tablas
  • Dholak dhol manjira and related percussion
  • Audio equipment including speakers microphones mixers and similar gear

The warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects and does not cover misuse neglect improper storage water damage excessive heat or humidity accidental damage unauthorised modifications or normal wear and tear

Carrom boards and accessories do not have a separate written warranty but faulty or defective items are still handled under New Zealand consumer law and our general approach to repairs and replacements

If a covered product develops a fault

  • We will normally inspect and attempt repair first including tuning reed replacement and other maintenance for harmoniums
  • If the same fault keeps returning or there is a major fault we move to replacement
  • In special situations where repair and replacement are not appropriate or possible we may consider a refund

We also offer paid repairs for suitable products after the warranty period and often even for items not purchased from us where we are able to service them


10 Your responsibilities

By buying from us and using our products you agree to

  • Provide accurate contact and delivery information
  • Check your order promptly on arrival and contact us within the required time if there is a fault or damage
  • Use store and care for your instrument carrom board or audio equipment responsibly and in line with normal practice for that type of product
  • Follow any care or usage guidance we provide to help protect your purchase

11 Website use

When you use our website or online store you agree that you will not

  • Try to interfere with the operation or security of the site
  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Copy or misuse content such as product descriptions in a way that could mislead others

Product descriptions and photos on the website are provided to help you understand the products Colours and finishes can appear differently on different screens and may vary slightly from the images shown


12 Limitation of liability

We aim to act honestly fairly and carefully in everything we do To the maximum extent allowed by New Zealand law

  • We are not responsible for any loss that is caused by misuse neglect or failure to follow reasonable care and handling instructions for your product
  • We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss such as loss of income loss of opportunity or similar issues arising from the use or inability to use our products or services

Nothing in these terms is intended to limit your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or any other law that cannot be excluded


13 Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy This explains what information we collect how we use it how we share it with couriers and payment providers and how you can access or correct it

By using our website or buying from us you agree to our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our business processes products services or New Zealand law
